Doris Sammut

Doris Sammut is the Co-founder and Joint Managing Director of Green Skip Services.  With a strong background in environmental advocacy and a passion for sustainable business practices, Doris has been instrumental in shaping the company’s growth and success since its inception in 1992.

Her leadership extends beyond the operations of Green Skip Services; Doris is a recognised figure in the local and international waste management sectors.  She has been a key participant and contributor at various seminars and conferences both in Malta and abroad, advocating for the adoption of responsible waste management practices and environmental sustainability.

Doris is also actively involved in several prominent industry organizations. She serves on the council of the Malta Employers’ Association and represents Malta on the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), where she advocates for policies that support both economic growth and environmental protection.

In recognition of her leadership and entrepreneurial spirit, Doris was honored with the Enterprising Women of the Year Award in 2018.  Her commitment to sustainable business practices and her ability to drive positive change in the waste management industry continues to inspire and influence the field.
